WHO:
- Juniors (U12, U14, U16, U18)

WINTER COMP DATES:
- Juniors 25/5/2025 - 24/08/2025
- Senior Men 20/5/2025 - 19/08/25
- Senior Women 21/5/2025 - 20/08/25
WHERE:
- Games are on Sunday afternoons for JUNIORS, Tuesday evenings for SENIOR MEN and Wednesday evenings for SENIOR WOMEN, times depending on pool and location
TRAINING DAYS:
- TBC - we will be in contact with training days, times and locations shortly
COST:
- RETURNING PLAYERS (played 2024/2025 Summer comp) - $500
- NEW PLAYERS (didn't play 2024/2025 Summer comp) - $500 + WPNSW and WPAUS insurance fees (fees TBC by WPNSW and WPAUS)
REGISTERING:
Returning Players (played Summer 2024/2025)
After completing the EOI, returning players who played for UNSW Wests in the Summer 2024/2025 tournament will be sent an invoice for the winter season.
New Players (did not play Summer 2024/2025)
Players who did not play summer 2024/2025 will not be in the system so will have to register on our website. If you have played previously for UNSW Wests in a different summer or winter season, click RETURNING PLAYER. If you have never played club water polo before, click NEW PLAYER. Junior Development Program Term 2 2025:The last JDP for Term 1 is Friday 4th April! Our U12 Junior Development Program is for new and returning players born 2012, 2013 and 2014. Great for boys and girls who are young and still developing their skills. 8 Week Program: Starting Friday 9th May - Friday 27th June 2025 FRIDAY NIGHTS @ UNSW Aquatic Centre | 12 & UNDER | Active Kids Vouchers Accepted Arrive by 6:15pm for check in. Session starts at 6:30pm-7:45pm Cost: $220 |

Starting this week is the 2024 Australian Water Polo League competition. The Australian Water Polo League Competition ("AWL") is Australia's premier domestic water polo competition and UNSW Wests fields a Women's team and a Men's team in the AWL. The Men’s team are known as the Magpies’. The Magpies have won 7 AWL Championships and recently won 3 in a row in 2019, (2020 incomplete), (2021 not held), 2022 and 2023! The Women's team, the 2018 AWL champions, are fondly known as the 'Killer Whales'.

A huge congratulations to the UNSW Wests Magpies who have been ranked 4th in Platinum Asset Management (Platinum) and GAIN LINE Analytics (Gain Line) analysis on Australia's (Australia and New Zealand) Best Sport Team (ABST) 2023. This is a huge honour for the team who in 2022 ranked at 13th place. The Magpies are also ranked 2nd in NSW in 2023 being beaten out by the NRL's Penrith Panthers.
